Biography:

Robert E. Torian is a fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation and is a member of the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association. Mr. Torian currently serves as President of the John M. Duhe’, Jr. American Inn of Court and is a former member of the American Inn of Court of Acadiana. Mr. Torian has been the Chairman of the Bridging the Gap Committee for the Louisiana State Bar Association and a lecturer at that program for a number of years. He is a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, the American and Louisiana State Bar Associations, and the Lafayette Parish Bar Association. Mr. Torian is also a past president and board member of the Lafayette Young Lawyers Association and a former member of the board of the Lafayette Parish Bar Association.

Mr. Torian is secretary/treasurer of the United Way of Acadiana and currently serves on the United Way’s board. He is past chairman of the United Way’s board. He is past chairman of the United Way’s professional division and participates on the board of Hospice of Acadiana as the United Way liaison.
