Biography:

Jed M. Mestayer was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on September 20, 1978. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 2000. In 2004, Mr. Mestayer recieved a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degree from Louisiana State University. prior to joining Laborde & Neuner as an associate, Mr. Mestayer served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard T. Haik, Sr., Chief Judge, United States District for the Western District of Louisiana, He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Lafayette Parish Bar Association, American Bar Association and the John M. Duhe, Jr. American Inn of Court. Mr. Mestayer was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2004 and his primary areas of practice are Admiralty and Maritime Law, Insurance Defense, Governmental Liability Defense and Corporate Law.
