Biography:

Jason Reed’s primary area of practice is insurance defense. Having joined Laborde & Neuner out of law school in 2003, Reed quickly gained a high level of experience. He has represented several Acadiana municipalities and their insurer, The Travelers Companies, the nation’s second largest writer of commercial property casualty and personal insurance. The cases have primarily involved personal injury and civil rights defense. Reed also has represented several local insurance brokers.

Originally from Memphis, Reed earned both his undergraduate and law degree from LSU in Baton Rouge. He is a member of the Duhe Inns of Court and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. Reed also has been active with regional Mock Trial Competition and with the Lafayette Volunteer Lawyer Program.
